Jungsoo has been a long time member of the Merajver lab. She is working with me on three dimensional tissue printing of cancer models.
David is working on structured printing of PS beads into multi-cellular organ-on-a-chip devices. His main focus is on HepG2 cell patterning and the role that both cell arrangement and the micro-environment play in Albumin production.
Nathan is working on 2D and 3D printing of PS beads and cells into tissue constructs.
Lilly’s projected advanced the function of an optofluidic platform by improving the software capability.
Felix project is meant to extend the capabilities of the optofluidic lithography system.
Malena is studying the self assembly of microparticles on a liquid interface.
Levon is leading an effort to improve the throughput of optofluidic synthesis and our understanding of algorithmic assembly of microparticles.
Ilias has graduated and taken a position at Chrysler. Congratulations Ilias! His work was focused on the design of a robotic CVD system for growing carbon nanotubes, graphene and other nanomaterials. He also, studied the effect of pressure and reactor stability in controlling carbon nanotube forest density and quality.
Adam has since graduated and is attending MIT as a masters students. Congrats Adam! Adam led a 450 team in developing novel lithographic processes. Details pending publication.
Chad was a team member on an ME-450 team led by Adam and mentored by myself and Erik Polsen in the creation of novel lithographic processes.
Casey was a team member on an ME-450 team led by Adam and mentored by myself and Erik Polsen in the creation of novel lithographic processes. After graduating with a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan in 2013, Casey is now a Mechanical & Structural Engineer for The Boeing Company located in Southern California. At Boeing, he primarily works on developing a new product line of small satellites. In his free time he enjoys running, attending concerts, hiking and cheering on the Michigan Wolverines. His Facebook and Linkedin profiles are listed below.
Jenna was a team member on an ME-450 team led by Adam and mentored by myself and Erik Polsen in the creation of novel lithographic processes. She is now working in at Yazaki North America.
Yuki was a visiting researcher from Japan. He was co-mentored by myself and Sam Tawfick. His research focused on the local and global effects on the growth of carbon nanotube micropillar arrays.
Paul’s research revolved around the development of a high throughput processing process for polymer microfludic devices to process bio-diesel.
